Thai Airways Royal Orchid holidays offers reasonable prices for first time tourist like me. During my visit, most of the city trains are already running and convenient. I did not plan to shop but to do some fact finding and research of Bangkok city. Bangkok is cost effective to eat, have fun and shopping but permanent accomodation is pricey compare to Kuala Lumpur. Food quality is a good. Local fashion sense is different from rest of Asian cities I visited. Bangkok IS the place to rest and do some creative dreaming.

 

My trip was planned around Jatujak weekend market. Wonderful place to shop endlessly even though it was hot. Flew earliest into Bangkok on Friday and back in Kuala Lumpur on Monday on the earliest flight. Perfect timing.
